    Great frame, bad hardware

Posted by Max Gordon on 17th Oct 2024

The frame itself looks fantastic, and it's indistinguishable from the original antique frame that I was trying to match. However, it was sent along with a nail-less sawtooth hanger, which is the worst thing to hang a frame with, especially one made from MDF. After doing a lot of research, I got a pair of d-rings with screws and used those instead -- a much more stable approach. I did not want my beautiful frame and expensive convex glass to end up on the floor due to a failing saw tooth bracket, and I would think that with the quality of frames you provide, you'd also provide quality mounting hardware.
